THE Filipino community in Ireland has organised the Simbang Gabi to prepare for the birthday of our Saviour Jesus Christ. This event started last December 15 and will end on December 24, 2008 with the celebration of the vigil Mass for Christmas. The Mass starts 8.00 o’clock in the evening at the Blessed Sacrament Chapel, Bachelors Walk, Dublin 1, Ireland. On Christmas Day, the 12.30 Mass will be animated by the Filipinos.
Different Filipino Choirs are assigned to sing during the Masses. They are Crumlin Filipino Choir ( December 15); Couples for Christ Choir (December 16); Beaumont Filipino Choir ( December 17); Youth for Chirst Choir (December 18); Anima Christi Choir (December 19); Voce Christiana (December 20); St. James Hospital Choir (December 21); Lucan-Celbridge Filipino Choir (December 22); Filipino Volunteers’ Choir (December 23); Chorale Ensemble (December 24); Eymard Filipino Choir (December 25).
